Susan & Bob Hoff
Susan and Bob Hoff are the Founders of Fontebella Maternity Home. They have been married for 20 years, and are the parents of 4 children and 4 grandchildren.
Susan graduated Summa Cum Laude receiving her Bachelors of Business Administration from Fontbonne University in St. Louis. After working more than 20 years as a Commercial Real Estate Property Manager, Susan left her career to start Fontebella. As a young mother herself, Susan experienced firsthand the importance of a supportive family and father of the baby. Upon learning that not everyone has that, Susan felt compelled to provide a support system for them.
Bob is the owner of Performance Roofing, Inc. in South County, which has been family owned and operated for more than 28 years. Bob has been very active with the youth ministry at his church for years. He has also served on his Pastoral Council for two terms.
Paul J. Evans
Paul is an attorney and principal of Evans Law Firm, PC in O’Fallon, Illinois. He enjoys a varied practice of different areas of law, including a long history of serving on, or as counsel to, a number of boards and nonprofits. Active in numerous organizations, his past activities include being a member of the Illinois General Assembly. Paul resides in O’Fallon with his wife, Sandy, and their three children.
Gregg is the Vice President of Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. of Highland, a 57 year old family-owned construction business, which supports numerous faith and civic-based ministries and services. He and his wife Celeste have been married for 34 years, and have 5 kids, ages 31 to 13, two sons-in-law, a 3 year old grandson and two brand new grandbabies. They worked the foster care program through Catholic Charities of Alton, which led them to adopt their second youngest, Jared, who is now 15.
The Korte family actively supports their parish, St. Boniface, in Edwardsville, IL. Gregg served on the Board of Directors for Relevant Pregnancy Options Center from 2006 to 2012, and has been on the Board for Fontebella since 2014. He believes these organizations provide necessary options for pregnant women, thereby providing a part of the solution for our nation’s abortion crisis.
Kevin has been involved in not for profit work for many years, both professionally and as a volunteer. He is currently a grant writer for Ranken Technical College, and is a full-time student at Eden Theological Seminary.
Patti grew up in Arizona and moved to the Midwest in high school. She attended Lincoln Land Community College in Springfield, IL and then Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
Patti has been involved with pro-life ministries for many years as a patient advocate at a Pregnancy Resource Center. She is passionate about moms and babies, and has served on her children’s school board and two Pastoral Councils, and volunteered for numerous fundraisers.
Patti has been a stay-at-home mom, raising 7 children and working for her husband’s dental practice. She swam competitively for several years and loves the water, having been certified in Search and Rescue SCUBA diving.
Tanisha earned her Master in Information Assurance degree from the University of Maryland. She is an IT Specialist for Defense Information Systems Agency at Scott Air Force Base. Having experienced the hardships that come with being a young single mom, the Fontebella mission is near and dear to her heart. She began volunteering at Fontebella Maternity Home in 2012 and eventually moved into a leadership role with the Board of Directors. Mrs. Pugh is married with four children and is committed to making positive change in the community. She regularly volunteers with her children at the Fairview Heights Food Pantry to ensure that her childrenunderstand the benefit of helping others.
Chad Townsley has served as Lead Pastor of Calvary Church in O’Fallon, Illinois, since October 2012. Chad joined the Board of Directors for Fontebella Maternity Home in January 2016. He has served in numerous volunteer and leadership roles in both for-profit and charitable non-profit sectors. This involvement has educated and equipped him with diverse experience in supply chain management, project management, associate development and public speaking.
In 2002, after the completion of his Biblical and Theological Studies & Training from Texas Bible College, Chad worked bi-vocationally in the business world and as Associate Pastor in northern Illinois. During this time he also completed certificates in both Leadership and Diversity. In 2006, he accepted the invitation and challenge of a church revitalization project in St. Charles, Illinois, where he served as Lead Pastor until Summer of 2010. From 2007 to now, Chad has devoted his full-time efforts and energies to ministry.
Driven with a passion for Christ and a compassion for the world, his purpose is to help people become. Pastor Chad – along with his wife, Brittani, and the church they lead – are committed to the mission of hope & life that Fontebella offers each mother and child.
Chad and his wife Brittani reside in O’Fallon and are the proud parents of three sons – Conner, Caiden and Carson.
Matt grew up in Fairview Heights, Illinois. He attended St. Albert the Great grade school (now Holy Trinity), and then Althoff Catholic High School and the University of Notre Dame for his undergraduate degree in Finance. He finished his education with an MBA at Southern Illinois University at Edwardville. Matt currently works as an Assistant Vice President at Bank of O’Fallon.
Matt is married to his wife, Danielle, and they have two beautiful children. They currently reside in Fairview Heights. He is an avid sports fan, particularly for St. Louis Blues hockey and all Notre Dame sports, and is an active member of the O’Fallon Knights of Columbus.
Matt has been a Board member for Fontebella for four years, serving as the treasurer for the last three. He believes strongly in the mission of Fontebella and prays for a day when no mother has an abortion simply because she feels she has no other option. Fontebella is that option.
